This is the maximum claim the insurance company will pay if the vehicle is stolen or damaged beyond repair.
Deductibles
An insurance deductible is amount the policyholder will have to pay from his pocket for repairs in the event of loss or damage to the vehicle.
Network garages
Network garages are cashless garages which have a tie-up with the insurance company and do not require the policyholder to make any payment out of their own pocket.
Non-network garages
These garages do not have a tie-up with the insurance company. Repairs or services undertaken must be paid for by the policyholder upfront and can be claimed later.
